Well marked, moderate route up the North end of Okemo, large middle portion of the trail parralels the western face before a short climb through the balsam past a few pocket views of Killington and Ascutney. Arriving at the junction between the staircased observation tower and Okemos summit lodge, I opted to climb the tower for photos and then walked over to the ski lodge to warm up, eat, gear change etc.. Great wooded hike even on a cold windy day
